Amazingly enough she doesn't have any aversion to stuffed animals or skeletons, she's fascinated by them--in a purely scientific way, of course. I vaguely remember being creeped out by then when I was little, but then again, I guess I didn't have much exposure to them. The other day we took her to the shipwreck museum and there was an excavated skeleton of a mutiny victim in a display case. Cyd looked very intently at it and then started naming off the names of the different bones, and said "mommy, he doesn't have any phalanges". It was true, the skeleton was missing it's hands.
